What happens to archived questions?

  • Archived questions are retired from active revision practice pools.
  • Existing student answers are kept for history.
  • They can remain on historical assignments. Unanswered archived questions are not asked again and do not create outstanding work for students who never answered them.
  • Archived questions are excluded from current Progress topic pools and mastery counts.
  • In Revisit, previously answered archived questions stay visible and are labelled “Retired”, but they cannot be attempted again.
  • Teacher historical views (for example Student Activity) may still show archived answers for reference; they are not removed from every report.
